Behaviour Mentor / Teaching Assistant - Lewisham - PRU / Alternative Provision - £100-£120 a day (depending on experience) - Full Time - Immediate Start
- Behaviour Mentor / Teaching Assistant - Previous experience supporting pupils with SEMH or challenging behaviour required
- Behaviour Mentor / Teaching Assistant - Experience working in a PRU or alternative provision highly desirable
- Behaviour Mentor / Teaching Assistant - Must be confident with behaviour management, de-escalation and classroom support
- Behaviour Mentor / Teaching Assistant - Required full time ASAP
Have you previously worked as a Behaviour Mentor or Teaching Assistant? Do you have strong behaviour management skills and experience supporting disengaged pupils? Are you able to build positive relationships with pupils who may present with challenging behaviour?

The Role - Behaviour Mentor / Teaching Assistant
Seeking a resilient and proactive Behaviour Mentor / Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 11-16 within a PRU setting. You will work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to provide targeted 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils manage behaviour, regulate emotions and re-engage with learning. The role combines classroom support with behaviour intervention, including implementing support plans, using de-escalation techniques, promoting positive behaviour and assisting pupils to access lessons within a structured environment.
