About the Role
Work Lyf Group are recruiting on behalf of our client in the Newcastle-under-Lyme area for a skilled CNC Turner . The successful candidate will have experience in programming, setting, and operating Fanuc-controlled CNC lathes and will be confident working on both existing production jobs and new job setups.
Key Responsibilities
Program, set, and operate CNC turning machines.
Set up lathes for both established work and new production runs.
Use Fanuc controls confidently and efficiently.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Maintain high accuracy and quality throughout the machining process.
Support continuous improvement and production efficiency.
Desirable Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a CNC Turner.
Strong understanding of Fanuc-controlled CNC lathes.
Ability to program, set, and operate independently.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Good problem-solving skills and initiative.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
