About the role
Role: Pump Service Engineer Location: Bristol Salary: Up to £45,000 depending on experience Our client is looking for an experienced Pump Service Engineer to join their busy team.

You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, fault-finding, and repair of a wide range of electrical pump systems across commercial, industrial, and residential sites.
This is a field-based role requiring strong technical ability, excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused approach.
Responsibilities include: Service, maintain, and repair electrical pump systems (including submersible, booster, and wastewater pumps) Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults on-site Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) Install and commission new pump systems Complete accurate service reports and documentation Communicate effectively with clients and provide technical advice Ensure all work complies with health & safety regulations Skills and experience: NVQ Level 2/3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation or Engineering 17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations (preferred) Proven experience working with pump systems or similar equipment Strong fault-finding skills in both electrical and mechanical systems Full UK driving licence Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively Strong customer service and communication skills WR Engineering are the 1 recruitment partner for engineering, manufacturing & technical sales jobs.
