Plant Fitter Location: East Midlands (site-based, within 30 minutes of Burton-on-Trent/Swadlincote) Salary: Competitive hourly rate overtime benefits We are working with a well-established industrial business investing heavily in a new state-of-the-art facility.

As part of this growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Plant Fitter to join a small, close-knit maintenance team.
The Role: Service, maintain and repair heavy plant machinery including shredders, trommels and loading shovels Carry out inspections, fault finding and diagnostics using modern equipment Complete mechanical repairs, part replacements and adjustments to ensure operational efficiency Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment and electrical testing tools Maintain accurate service records and daily job logs About You: Proven experience working on heavy plant or similar machinery Experience within waste, recycling or similar environments beneficial Welding experience advantageous Time served with recognised engineering qualifications Strong work ethic with good communication skills Working Environment: Mix of workshop and outdoor work in varying conditions Involves manual handling, working at height and exposure to industrial environments Package: Monday to Friday, 47.5 hours per week Overtime available, including weekends paid at enhanced rates 22 days holiday plus bank holidays Company pension scheme This is a great opportunity to join a growing operation with long-term stability and investment.
