Winner Education are recruiting an experienced primary school SEN teaching assistant on behalf of our primary school client in the Central Worcester area. Our client is a two-form entry school who have an exceptional reputation in giving support towards their staff. This a full time, long-term role, starting as soon as possible. You will be required to provide 1:1 support to pupils who have additional needs.
The successful primary school SEN teaching assistant must:
Have previous experience working with children who have additional behavioural needs
Have experience supporting children on a 1:1 basis
Show previous experience and understanding of working with Autism
Have a good understanding of the curriculum
Demonstrate the ability to tailor resources to suit the correct ability level
Have previous experience with primary aged children
Be resilient and strong-willed
Display the skills to be a good role model
Minimum Level 2 qualification or extensive experience as an unqualified TA/Child Support Worker
