Hours: 40 hours per week (Full Time, All Year Round)
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Deputy Room Leader to support the management of a nursery room and help lead a team in delivering outstanding childcare.
About the Role As Deputy Room Leader, you will support the Room Leader in managing the day-to-day running of the room, ensuring high standards of care, education, and safeguarding are consistently maintained.
Key Responsibilities Support the Room Leader in managing the room and staff team
Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with EYFS
Monitor childrens development and maintain accurate records
Act as a key person and support colleagues in their roles
Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and Ofsted standards are met
Build strong relationships with parents and carers
Requirements Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or above)
Previous experience in a senior practitioner or room-based xwzovoh role
Strong organisational and communication skills
Good understanding of EYFS and safeguarding
