People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Burton Upon Trent, Staffordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.
This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a LGV Class 2 Driver , Category C Driver or Truck Driver .
Twelve months previous Class 2 Driving experience required for this role
There is a minimum of eight hours worked per day.
Must pass a driving assessment prior to start.
Shifts: Monday to Friday: start times between

Pay rate: £16.25 per hour

Day to Day Duties
As a Class 2 Driver with our client, you will:
Complete two to five drops per day
Deliver roller cages and totes
Operate a tail lift
Assist with handballing
Drive Category C vehicles safely and efficiently
Ensure all loads are safe and secure
Complete any necessary paperwork
Essential Skills
As a Class 2 Driver for our client, you would need:
To be comfortable with early starts
To have at least 12 months previous Class 2 driving experience
To hold a valid UK Category C xwzovoh Driving Licence
To hold a valid CPC and Digi Card
To have no more than six points on Driving Licence for minor infringements
No major endorsement codes
Training
Industry related training and ongoing support throughout.
