HGV Class 2 Day Driver

This role involves longer distance deliveries with low drop numbers, making it ideal for drivers who prefer planned routes rather than intensive parcel-style multi drop work.

Ipswich based
Ongoing work available
Typically 25 drops per day
Longer distance deliveries
No heavy parcel-style multi drop work
Monday to Friday shifts available
Pay Rates £18.00 per hour PAYE
£20.00 per hour after 10 hours worked daily
Requirements Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Multi drop experience essential
Tail lift experience preferred
Good customer service and communication skills
Good understanding of driver hours and compliance regulations
Duties Completing deliveries to commercial customers
Using tail lift equipment where required
Completing delivery paperwork xwzovoh and vehicle checks
Maintaining a professional attitude with customers
