D365 Business Central Functional Consultant Location: Hampshire (Hybrid X2 days per week onsite OR remote) Employment: Permanent Client: Microsoft Partner Overview Our client, a leading Microsoft Partner, is seeking an experienced D365 Business Central Functional Consultant to join their growing team. This is a permanent role offering flexibility to work remotely, with onsite collaboration in Hampshire two days per week. You will play a key role in delivering high‑quality Business Central implementations, driving functional design, and supporting customers across the full project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities * Lead functional workshops, requirements gathering, and solution design for D365 Business Central. * Configure, customise, and implement BC modules aligned to customer needs. * Produce functional documentation, process flows, and user guides. * Work closely with technical teams to ensure successful solution delivery. * Support UAT, training, go‑live, and post‑implementation activities. * Advise customers on best practice, optimisation, and system improvements. * Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain strong client relationships. Essential Skills & Experience * Proven experience as a D365 Business Central Functional Consultant. * Strong understanding of core BC modules (Finance, SCM, Warehousing, Projects, Manufacturing, or similar). * Experience delivering end‑to‑end implementations for Microsoft Partners or similar environments. * Ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions. * Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills. * Solid documentation, workshop, and training capability. Desirable * Experience with LS Retail, eCommerce, distribution, or retail environments. * Knowledge of Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate). * Microsoft certifications (MB‑800 or equivalent).
