Job Title: Art Teacher Location: Aylesbury Start: September 2026 Full Time: Temporary to Permanent Salary: £29,344-£44,919 This school is seeking an Art & Design Teacher who can inspire creativity while maintaining clear structure and high expectations. Art is viewed as both a practical and academic subject, requiring discipline, reflection, and technical skill. You will teach KS3 and KS4 Art, guiding students through skills development, creative exploration, and final outcomes. Your responsibilities: Deliver engaging Art & Design lessons across KS3–KS4 Teach drawing, painting, mixed media, and design processes Support students in developing portfolios and coursework Promote independence and personal expression Manage classroom resources and materials effectively Assess practical work and provide constructive feedback Maintain an organised, purposeful studio environment Who We’re Hoping to Meet: QTS is desirable, but unqualified teachers and applicants with relevant education or experience are welcome to apply.
