Welding Supervisor

Role: Welding Supervisor Start Date: Immediate Start Location: Mildenhall, Suffolk Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 Pay: £37,000 per annum Contract: Permanent We are recruiting for a Weld Production Supervisor to join a busy and well-established manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on leadership role, overseeing daily welding and fabrication operations while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency across the shop floor. Welding Supervisor Duties: Supervise daily welding and fabrication activities in line with production schedules Allocate work, monitor progress, and resolve any material or workflow issues Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work area, supporting 5S and H&S standards Carry out quality checks and ensure compliance with drawings, WPS, and specifications Train and support team members across welding processes and best practices Manage consumables, tools, and equipment, including basic maintenance Liaise with production, engineering, and quality teams to improve processes Support hands-on welding/fabrication when requiredSkills & Requirements: Previous experience in a welding/fabrication supervisory or senior role Strong knowledge of MIG, TIG, MMA or similar welding processes Ability to read and work from engineering drawings Good understanding of health & safety and quality standards Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills Hands-on, reliable, and able to lead by exampleThis is a great opportunity to join a growing business where you can lead from the front, develop a team, and play a key role in maintaining high production and quality standards.
