About the role
Quantity Surveyor - Roads, Sewers and Plots
Our client is a reputable civil engineering sub contractor based on sites throughout West and East Yorkshire .
You would be required to manage the commercial aspects of multiple sites while offering support to operational teams as well as other members of the commercial team.
Experienced Quantity Surveyors will be considered with sector background in either Housebuilding, Civil Engineering or groundworks
Duties and responsibilities will include:
Valuations
Account Management
Value Maximisation
Cost Control
Value Engineering
Contract Awareness
Procurement and Management of Subcontractors
Payments to Supply Chain
To be considered for this role the successful candidate should have:
Construction related qualification such as BSc (Hons) Degree, HNC/HND or a Diploma
Conversant in standard methods of measurement
Proficient in general IT applications such as Excel, Word and Outlook.
Excellent verbal and written skills.
