You will be working directly with a hiring manager who knows exactly what she wants. This is not another generic producer role, and it is not for someone who wants a comfortable handover or a ready?made book. She is looking for someone who understands their patch, someone who can walk into a room and instantly build rapport, someone who genuinely wants to create, not inherit. There will be no micromanagement and no hand?holding, but also no 360 support to lean on in the early days. That means this suits someone who is capable, steady, curious and hungry, a person who takes pride in doing the job properly and sees opportunity where others see inconvenience.
There are no income targets in year one. The first year is about laying foundations, creating conversations, building a pipeline and putting your roots down in the right soil. Year two brings realistic expectations, around the £30,000 to £50,000 income mark depending on how you land, but you are given everything you need to succeed without the pressure cooker environment of a consolidator.
