Senior Electrical Design Engineer

TSA Surveying are currently working in partnership with a leading building services consultancy, who are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their London building services design team. You will play a key role in the design and delivery of major building projects, working closely with clients, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative, energy-efficient electrical solutions.

As part of the role, you will:

Contribute to design strategy and conceptual electrical design for a wide range of projects
Undertake detailed electrical design calculations and technical analysis
Produce electrical design drawings, schematics, specifications, and schedules
Ensure designs comply with current British Standards, Building Regulations, and sustainability requirements
Deliver low-energy, low-carbon electrical solutions
Lead and coordinate M&E project teams through all stages of project delivery
Attend client and design team meetings, managing relationships and interpreting project briefs
Review and check the work of other engineers and support quality assurance processes
Mentor and support junior engineers and trainees within the team
Participate in peer reviews and contribute to continuous technical improvement
Support sustainability initiatives and environmental objectives across the business

The successful candidate will:

Have experience operating at Senior xwzovoh Electrical Engineer level within building services consultancy
Hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
Be Chartered or actively working towards Chartered Engineer status
Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of electrical building services systems
Have excellent communication and leadership skills
Be able to manage multiple projects and coordinate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
