CNC Setter/Operator - Turning

CNC Setter/Operator Day Shifts Permanent Roles To £17.00 per hour We are hiring CNC Setters for a Precision Engineering company based in Middlesex. You will set and operate CNC equipment so every part meets drawing, quality and delivery targets in a busy one-stop engineering workshop. The Role Set and operate CNC Turning (lathe) machines Work from engineering drawings and programs so first-off parts pass inspection within stated tolerances. Perform routine inspections using micrometers, calipers and other measuring guages. Experience Proven ability to set and operate CNC machines (Fanuc or Siemens controls) to produce precision parts from drawings. Skilled use of micrometers, height gauges and other inspection tools. Ability to interpret engineering drawings Understanding of G- code is advantagous. You will report to the Production Supervisor and work alongside a compact machining and assembly team. You have full access to CNC equipment, a well-stocked tool store, inspection equipment and support from programming and quality.
