Job Title: Responsible Individual Location: Market Weighton, YO43 Salary: £70,000 £140,000 (experience-dependent) Profit Share Bonus A flagship, purpose-built Low Secure Childrens Residential Home is being launched in Market Weighton.

This is a rare opportunity to lead a high-specification site from the ground up.
The facility will feature 12 luxury ensuite bedrooms and professionally landscaped gardens, currently undergoing a premium refurbishment due for completion within 34 months.
We are seeking a high-calibre Responsible Individual to lead this project, ensuring the highest standards of clinical care, safety, and commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities Launch & Compliance: Lead the initial setup, including the development of robust Ofsted-compliant policies and procedures Team Building: Recruit, train, and mentor a full multidisciplinary team Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day operations, maintaining a focus on therapeutic outcomes and achieving Outstanding regulatory ratings Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for Childrens Services and Local Authorities to secure placements and build strong partnerships Commercial Oversight: Manage budgets and drive financial performance through effective commercial leadership Essential Qualifications & Requirements (Ofsted) Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent) Minimum of 2 years experience within the last 5 years working in a position relevant to residential childcare At least 1 year in a supervisory/management role within a childrens residential setting Thorough understanding of Ofsted regulations, including the Childrens Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards Proven experience in achieving Ofsted ratings of Good or Outstanding Ability to meet the fit xwzovoh person requirements for both Registered Manager and Responsible Individual roles under Ofsted What Were Looking For Low Secure Expertise: Extensive experience within Low Secure environments for children Ofsted Knowledge: Strong track record managing Ofsted-regulated services Leadership: Experience in policy development and large-scale staff recruitment Network: Established relationships with Local Authorities and Childrens Services Benefits Market-leading salary (£70,000 £140,000) Lucrative profit share bonus scheme Opportunity to shape a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility
