Key Responsibilities of a Bar Supervisor:
Welcome and interact with guests, providing friendly and professional service while offering drink recommendations.
Ensure team members are knowledgeable about the menu and provide ongoing training to maintain high standards of service.
Oversee cleanliness and organisation of the bar, ensuring its fully stocked and ready for service.
Ensure the smooth operation of the bar during your shift, managing service flow and product quality.
Accurately handle transactions and ensure the proper use of the POS system.
Ensure adherence to all relevant health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
Lead the team, delegate tasks, and ensure the bar operates efficiently throughout your shift.
What are we looking for?
Previous bar or hospitality experience, with strong knowledge of classic cocktails and a passion for delivering excellent service.
Strong ability to lead and motivate a team, ensuring smooth operations during your shift.
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently and professionally with guests and colleagues.
High standards of cleanliness and organisation, ensuring the bar area is always prepared and fully stocked.
Collaborative attitude with the ability to work effectively with others and contribute to a positive work environment.
Ability to handle guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism and composure.
Willingness to adapt to changing circumstances and busy service times.
