- Pay rate up to £33/hour DoE A leading defence organisation is seeking a Manufacturing Bid Lead to support new business activity and deliver industrial transfer and offload programmes within a complex engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities Produce competitive and compliant manufacturing bids for industrial transfer work packages.
Deliver industrial transfer projects , ensuring performance to time, cost and quality, with clear progress reporting and issue resolution.
Lead the manufacturing offload process , working with manufacturing and procurement teams to identify suppliers and develop business cases.
Implement manufacturing strategy and industrial policy aligned to new business pipelines and technology roadmaps.
Support new business capture activity and maintain strong internal and supplier stakeholder relationships.
Contribute to continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and functional excellence initiatives.
Skills & Experience Proven project management experience delivering fixed-cost programmes within a matrix organisation.
Background in manufacturing, engineering or production environments .
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Proactive, decisive and commercially aware, with the ability to balance strategic and day-to-day delivery.
Security clearance or eligibility to obtain clearance will be required. xwzovoh
