Site Engineer

Site Engineer Due to the nature of this project being based on a high-security site, successful candidates will be required to undergo additional security screening. BPSS-level security clearance is mandatory, and the clearance process can take approximately 4–6 weeks. Please note: only candidates who hold passports from EU, NATO, 5 Eyes, or MISWG member countries, and who have resided in the UK continuously for the past 5 years, can be considered for this role. Key Responsibilities As a Site Engineer, your duties will include: * Assisting in the preparation and management of as-built drawings * Maintaining effective systems to record completed works and updating the Project Quality Plan accordingly * Supporting systems that monitor progress against programme, quality, dimensions, and quantities * Assisting with the recording and testing of workmanship and materials, including drainage, concrete, piling, and brickwork * Providing engineering support to resolve technical issues and respond to technical queries * Setting out works within specified tolerances * Regularly checking setting out points, benchmarks, and ensuring all surveying instruments and measuring equipment are calibrated and recorded correctly * Ensuring the workforce fully understands all setting out information relevant to the works being undertaken * Preparing and distributing site sketches, maintaining clear communication across site teams * Maintaining dimensional control to ensure accurate construction of works * Recording site instructions and maintaining the drawing register Requirements We are looking for candidates with: * A degree qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent (desirable), such as: * BSc / BA / BEng / MEng * EngTech * MICE / TIStructE / LCIBSE / LCIBSE EngTech * Completion of a Higher Apprenticeship * SSSTS certification * CSCS White PQP/AQP card * Previous experience in a similar Site Engineer role * Candidates currently working towards Chartership or Incorporation with ICE, IStructE, or another relevant professional body are encouraged to apply Additional Information * Lodge allowance is available for eligible candidates
