Teacher of Design, Engineering & Technology - Fixed term until 25/6/2027 Holy Rood RC High School We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher to join our Design, Engineering & Technology Faculty. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing team and help shape the future of technological education within our school. Broad General Education (BGE) in S1-S3 Design & Manufacture to Higher level Skills for Work: Engineering Creative Thinking at SCQF Levels 5 and 6 (previously presented) We are looking for a committed teacher who can help build and expand the faculty, increasing the range of pathways and opportunities available to our pupils. The successful candidate will bring energy, creativity, and a pupil-focused approach to learning and teaching. The faculty benefits from three fully equipped workshops, two dedicated classrooms, a subject-specific Curriculum Leader, and a skilled technician - providing a strong foundation for innovative and practical learning experiences. This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. Salaries will be in accordance with the Scheme of Salaries and Conditions of Service for Teaching Staff in School Education.
