Secondary Teacher – All Subjects Location: Great Yarmouth, Norfolk Position Type: [Permanent / Temporary / Long‑Term / Supply] Start Date: [Immediate / September / Flexible] About the Role We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Secondary Teachers across all subject specialisms to work with secondary schools throughout Great Yarmouth. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that inspire and challenge students, while maintaining a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Key Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the secondary curriculum and exam specifications Assess, track, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback Manage classroom behaviour effectively in accordance with school policies Differentiate teaching to meet the needs, abilities, and learning styles of all students Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues Contribute to departmental and whole‑school initiatives Engage in continuous professional development Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT) Strong subject knowledge in your specialist area Excellent communication and organisational skills Confidence teaching students aged 11–16 (KS3–KS4; KS5 desirable but not essential) Ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one), ideally registered on the DBS Update Service What We Offer Competitive pay rates Flexible working options to suit your availability Access to ongoing CPD and training opportunities Dedicated consultant support Opportunities to work across a variety of secondary schools in Great Yarmouth and the surrounding areas All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
