Commis Chef – Temp to Perm | Witney, Oxfordshire (OX29) £16.00 per hour Monday to Friday 6:00pm–2:00am Immediate Start We’re recruiting a Commis Chef to join a well-established contract catering team in Witney on a temp-to-perm basis. Working alongside another chef, you’ll help prepare and serve evening meals for approximately 150 people across two services. This is a great opportunity for a Commis Chef looking to develop their skills and progress within a professional kitchen. What’s on offer? * £16.00 per hour * Paid weekly * Monday to Friday, 6:00pm–2:00am * Paid holiday * Free meals on duty * Immediate start * Temp-to-perm opportunity * Progression opportunities after 12 weeks * No weekend work Duties include: * Reheating and serving food prepared by the day team * Cooking some dishes from fresh * Preparing salads for the salad bar * Preparing for breakfast service * Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness * Supporting with general kitchen duties What we’re looking for: * Previous kitchen or Chef experience * Reliable and confident working independently * Good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen standards * Positive attitude and willingness to learn * Own transport essential due to the location and working hours Looking for an evening role with your weekends and days free?
