Supervisor/Site Manager

Site Supervisor – Infrastructure Projects Location: Netherton (site-based) Contract: 6 months initial Rate: £550–£600 per day (Umbrella) Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday Overview An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Supervisor to support the delivery of infrastructure projects within a site-based environment. This role will be responsible for ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality delivery of works, acting as a key point of coordination between contractors and project stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Maintain a consistent on-site presence, promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring adherence to site standards Monitor contractor performance, carrying out quality checks and site audits , resolving issues where possible and escalating where required Ensure all works are delivered in line with design specifications and project requirements Track and report on site progress, completing daily/weekly updates on programme, safety, and delivery Ensure compliance with planning consents, HSE standards, and project governance requirements Support Construction Managers and contribute to project delivery, including attendance at project meetings Requirements Proven experience in a Site Supervisor or similar role within construction or infrastructure projects Strong understanding of health & safety regulations and site compliance Experience overseeing contractors and ensuring quality and programme delivery Ability to communicate effectively with project teams and escalate issues appropriately Proactive, organised, and able to manage competing site priorities
