Building Services Engineer – Canary Wharf – 46k Overview An excellent opportunity for a Building Services Engineer to join a busy data centre environment in Canary Wharf. This role is suited to candidates with either mechanical or electrical backgrounds who are looking to develop their experience within a critical setting. Key Responsibilities * Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across the site * Support the day-to-day operation of building services systems * Work on mechanical and/or electrical systems, including cooling infrastructure * Ensure all work is completed in line with safety and compliance standards * Assist with continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives Requirements * Mechanical or Electrical engineering background * Experience with cooling systems (including cooling towers preferred) * Previous experience in a critical environment is advantageous * Data centre experience beneficial but not essential * Strong understanding of building services maintenance Why Apply * Stable Monday to Friday working pattern * Opportunity to gain experience in a data centre environment * Strong potential for future roles and career development * Work within a fast-paced and technically engaging site
