Working closely, under Scrum methodology, with cross-functional teams including Architects, Product Owners, Testers, and other developers to deliver product increments in line with defined Sprint goals, ensuring they meet both functional and non-functional requirements (such as scalability, reliability, and security). The role involves problem-solving, the development of innovative solutions and Proof of Concepts, and the application of AI techniques to meet client needs.Key responsibilities:Create and implement cloud-based applications and services, incorporating AI features where appropriate.Ensure cloud and AI solutions meet performance, scalability and reliability requirements.Work with domain and solution architects to design and refine cloud and AI solutions.Implement and maintain strong security best practices for cloud and AI components.Stay current with emerging cloud and AI technologies, including serverless, microservices and new AI frameworks.Document cloud and AI solutions clearly, including integrations and data flows.Troubleshoot and resolve issues across cloud and AI applications.Conduct functional, performance and resilience testing of cloud and AI components.Continuously enhance cloud and AI solutions based on metrics, feedback and best practices.Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations and internal guidelines.Skills and experience:Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud, ideally with certifications.Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, TypeScript or C#, with experience working with AI APIs and frameworks.Excellent problem-solving skills, particularly in developing AI-enabled technical solutions.Strong communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional and globally dispersed teams.Ability to quickly adopt and apply new cloud and AI technologies.High attention to detail and commitment to producing secure, reliable and high-quality solutions.About YouAbout UsSCC is Europe's largest privately-owned IT business, based out of the new 7m HQ office in Birmingham and we help clients succeed through IT transformation and exceptional customer experiences.
