Press Brake Operator

Robertson Recruitment are working with a growing and well-established sheet metal fabrication business, supplying high-quality precision components and assemblies to customers across a range of industries. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced and reliable Press Brake Machine Operator to join the production team.

As a Press Brake Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting and operating press brake machinery to manufacture precision sheet metal components to engineering specifications and customer requirements.
Working hours:
There are AM and PM shifts for this role so please let me know what you prefer.
Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC press brake machines

Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications

Select the correct tooling and materials for each job

Produce components to required tolerances and quality standards

Carry out first-off and in-process inspections

Work efficiently to meet production deadlines

Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Report any machine faults or quality concerns to management

Support continuous improvement and production efficiency initiatives

Has previous experience operating press brake machinery

Can confidently read engineering drawings

Has good attention to detail and takes pride in quality work

Understands sheet metal fabrication processes
