Lifting Supervisor

Job Title: Crane Supervisor Location: Southampton Job Type: Full-time Salary: Competitive + benefits Overview We are looking for a skilled and reliable Crane Supervisor to oversee lifting operations on a busy site in Southampton. This role is critical to ensuring all lifts are carried out safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with industry regulations. Key Duties * Supervise and coordinate all crane and lifting activities * Ensure lifting operations are conducted according to approved lift plans * Brief lifting teams and ensure clear communication at all times * Carry out risk assessments and toolbox talks * Monitor site safety and intervene where necessary * Inspect lifting equipment and ensure compliance with regulations * Liaise with site managers and other trades to maintain workflow Requirements * Valid CPCS or NPORS Crane Supervisor ticket * Strong understanding of lifting operations and safety standards (LOLER, PUWER) * Previous experience in a similar role * Good leadership and communication skills * Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
