7.5T DRIVER CURTAIN-SIDE DELIVERY / HEMEL HEMPSTEAD (HP2) We are recruiting experienced 7.5T Drivers for a specialist stone and surface distribution operation based in Hemel Hempstead (HP2). This role involves delivering high-value marble, granite, quartz and porcelain products to customers across London and surrounding areas.

Role: 7.5T Driver (C1)
Contract Type: Temporary / Ongoing
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (occasional weekends available)
Start Time: 08:00 AM on first induction day
Minimum Guaranteed Hours: 8.5 hours per shift
Break: 30-minute unpaid break
PAY Standard Rate Weekday (MonFri) Basic Hourly Rate: £17.50
Holiday Pay (Rolled Up): £2.44
Total Hourly Pay (Inclusive): £19.94
Overtime: Not applicable
Pay Frequency: Weekly
RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES Completing point-to-point deliveries of marble, granite, quartz and porcelain products
Delivering across London and surrounding areas
Completing approximately 16 deliveries per shift
Ensuring loads are strapped and secured correctly before transport
Driving curtain-sided vehicles safely and professionally
Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
Maintaining communication with the transport team throughout shifts
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED Full UK 7.5T (C1) Licence
Valid CPC Card
Digital Tachograph Card
Maximum 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
Curtain-side xwzovoh vehicle experience preferred
Experience securing and strapping loads beneficial
Reliable, careful and professional attitude
Good communication skills and common sense essential
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Automatic DAF vehicles
Vehicles tracked throughout shifts
No heavy loading/unloading required by drivers
Consistent/repeat drivers preferred
