Litigation (banking litigation/corporate recovery focus)

Our client is an established, well-regarded London law firm based in a fantastic central location in the capital. The firm has a well-structured and successful Litigation group, which is now seeking to expand with the addition of a commercial litigation lawyer who has experience in banking disputes and corporate recovery. The firm’s excellent culture and low hours target are both key attractions of this opportunity.This is a varied and dynamic role, acting for financial institutions, corporates, and insolvency practitioners in complex disputes and advisory situations. The successful candidate will work across a broad range of contentious matters, often involving high-value recoveries, lender enforcement actions, and disputes arising from insolvency or restructuring scenarios. You will handle disputes related to banking and finance, including recovery actions, security enforcement, and professional negligence claims, as well as advising lenders, insolvency practitioners, and corporate clients on issues linked to financial distress, restructuring, and asset recovery.The ideal candidate will have between two and five years’ PQE (or equivalent experience), with a strong background and stable career history in commercial litigation, including solid exposure to banking disputes and corporate recovery.
