Sales Support Executive

We are delighted to be working alongside a leading company based on the outskirts of Colchester who are looking for a Sales Support Executive. You will be responsible for following up quotations and converting these to orders. Key Duties: * Negotiate pricing within agreed guidelines and seek approval where required. * Respond promptly to customer pricing and product enquiries. * Work closely with Internal and External Sales teams to develop and convert opportunities. * Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure quote follow-ups are completed on time. * Manage customer sample requests and follow up as required. * Identify additional sales opportunities and communicate these to the wider team. * Support proactive sales campaigns and business development activities. * Provide general administrative support, including managing enquiries, updating databases and maintaining project records. * Assist the External Sales team with day-to-day requirements and customer support. * Attend customer and site visits where required to support specifications and secure orders. * Liaise with Supply Chain regarding stock availability and lead times. * Respond to customers' day-to-day requirements and ensure queries are dealt with promptly. Previous Skills & Experience: * Driven and motivated to secure new business and close sales. * Committed to delivering an excellent customer experience. * Strong CRM management skills with a focus on timely follow-ups. * Confident IT skills with experience in reporting, analysis, project tracking and CRM systems. * Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
