Job Title: CNC Turner Location: Hyde, Greater Manchester Hours: 35 hours per week Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time The Company We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established precision engineering business in the Hyde area. Due to continued demand, they are looking for an experienced CNC Turner to join their team on a permanent basis. The Role * Setting and operating CNC lathes to produce precision-engineered components * Programming and operating machines using Siemens and Fanuc controls * Operating large vertical lathes for heavy/large-diameter component work * Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to tight tolerances * First-off inspection and in-process quality checks * Carrying out routine machine maintenance and tool changes * Working to production schedules and deadlines The Candidate * Proven experience as a CNC Turner — essential * Proficient on both Siemens and Fanuc controls * Experience on large vertical lathes is highly desirable * Able to read and work to engineering drawings * Strong attention to detail and quality-focused * Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced production environment Hours & Pay * 35 hours per week contracted * All hours beyond 35 paid at time and a half * Sunday working paid at double time * Overtime is regularly available — ideal for those looking to boost earnings Interested?
