Assembly Operative

This Assembly operative role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing team in the telecommunications and networking sector. This company manufactures equipment for the telecoms sector and they are expanding due to an increase in orders. Working Hours: * 39 hours per week * Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (30-minute lunch break) * Friday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM * Overtime may be required to meet customer deadlines Key Candidate Attributes: * Experience in a manufacturing environment with high-quality standards * Strong attention to detail * Ability to work effectively as part of a team and meet tight deadlines * Flexible and willing to learn new skills * Practical, efficient, and capable of prioritizing workload in a fast-paced environment * Enthusiastic about joining a growing company and proactive in identifying opportunities for quality and productivity improvements Key Responsibilities: * Perform electro-mechanical assembly of components, including sheet metal assemblies and basic electrical component assembly * Read and interpret assembly drawings, specifications, and instructions accurately * Conduct precise measurements and ensure angular orientation of components * Maintain consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, and adherence to health & safety procedures * Continuously develop skills and knowledge to enhance performance in the role * Undertake additional duties as reasonably requested by the company Qualifications * Proficiency in assembly work * Mechanical knowledge for equipment setup * Experience with hand and power tools * Ability to work efficiently in a team environment * Strong attention to detail and quality control The salary for this Assembly Operative role is £29406 per year (£14.50 per hour) If you are a detail-oriented and motivated individual with assembly experience this role would be a great fit.
