Logistics Coordinator - Maternity Cover

Logistics Coordinator Location: Mallusk Salary: From £30,000 per annum (negotiable depending on experience) Hours: Monday to Thursday 10:00am 6:00pm, Friday 10:00am 5:00pm Contract: Permanent We are currently recruiting for aLogistics coordinator to join a busy and fast-paced logistics operation. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual to play a key role in coordinating transport and ensuring efficient delivery of services. Plan and coordinate daily routes for drivers, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness Allocate work to drivers and manage schedules Monitor deliveries and collections, ensuring deadlines are met Respond quickly to any issues such as delays or breakdowns, adjusting plans where required Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse staff, and customers Ensure compliance with transport regulations, including driver hours and tachograph rules Maintain accurate records and update transport systems Requirements: Previous experience in transport planning or logistics (preferred) Strong organisational and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks Good geographical knowledge Strong communication skills Confident using computer systems and planning software Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team Whats on Offer: Competitive salary from £30,000 per annum (DOE) Permanent, full-time position Structured working hours with early Friday finish Opportunity to develop within a growing logistics environment If you are a motivated individual looking to progress within transport and logistics, we would love to hear from you.
