The Role - Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, delivering 1:1 and small-group interventions to help them access learning and develop positive behaviours. A key aspect of this Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant role will involve supporting behaviour management, using structured and consistent strategies to help pupils regulate emotions and remain engaged in lessons. You will build strong, trusting relationships and act as a positive role model, providing stability, encouragement, and clear expectations. You will work with pupils with needs including SEMH, ADHD, Autism, and trauma-related behaviours, supporting both their academic progress and personal development.
