About the role
Our client is seeking dedicated Assessment and Move-On Workers to join their team, providing 37 beds of off-street accommodation for people experiencing homelessness. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a highly rewarding role, supporting rough sleepers with complex needs to take the next step toward stability.
Role responsibilities include:
Carrying out in-depth assessments to identify appropriate move-on options.
Supporting service users to transition successfully within 12 weeks.
Developing and regularly reviewing safety plans.
Assisting individuals to obtain ID and access to eligible benefits.
Taking a harm reduction approach to health and substance use.
Supporting people with No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF).Shift details:
Rolling rota with early (8am–4.30pm) and late (2pm–10pm) shifts.
Weekend work included, but no overnight shifts.
Regular long weekends off (3–4 days at a time).This is a brilliant opportunity for anyone experienced in working with vulnerable adults and passionate about making a tangible difference in people’s lives.
