Legal Cashier

Were looking for an experienced Legal Cashier to join a busy, close-knit Finance Team at our Walsall Head Office. This is a full-time, office based role & you will be working within a small but very supportive & social finance team. To be a good fit, you will have 2-3 years experience in a law-firm and be confident working within the Solicitors Accounts Rules.

Duties Will Include Handling client payments and ensuring accurate receipting Monitoring incoming funds and allocating them correctly to client accounts Managing daily banking tasks and maintaining accurate financial records Posting financial transactions across ledgers Producing routine finance reports for internal teams Preparing and processing electronic payments Managing cheque requests and supporting wider finance administration Creating clear breakdowns of time, costs and ledger information for client use Checking financial documentation, processing invoices and supporting payment runs Providing cover for colleagues during absence to maintain smooth workflow
