Description
Manage supplier performance to ensure adherence to agreed terms and service levels.
Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to drive mutual value and innovation.
Monitor and report on supplier performance against KPIs and service agreements.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement and supply chain requirements.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within supplier arrangements.
Ensure compliance with public sector procurement regulations and policies.
Lead supplier negotiations to secure favourable terms and agreements.
Support the development and implementation of category strategies.Profile
A successful Supplier Manager should have:
Experience in supplier management and procurement within the public sector.
Strong understanding of supply chain and procurement processes.
Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts effectively.
Knowledge of relevant procurement regulations and compliance requirements.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
Analytical skills to assess supplier performance and identify improvement opportunities.
A relevant qualification in procurement or supply chain management is desirable.Job Offer
A competitive salary ranging from £55,596 to £65,966 per annum.
Permanent position based in Milton Keynes with opportunities to work within a large public sector organisation.
Hybrid working with either 3 days in Milton Keynes or a day in Milton Keys and others from other regional offices.
