CareerMakers Recruitment is looking for a reliable and hardworking Van Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our client based in Cheetham Hill.
This is a varied role where you will primarily complete long-distance deliveries across the UK. During quieter periods, you will assist with general warehouse duties and basic administrative tasks to support the day-to-day operation.
Duties:
Complete long-distance deliveries to customers across the UK. Load and unload the vehicle safely and efficiently. Carry out daily vehicle checks before commencing your route. Plan routes to ensure deliveries are completed on time. Complete delivery paperwork accurately. Assist with picking, packing and general warehouse duties when required. Carry out basic administrative tasks, including updating records and entering information onto computer systems. Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment. Provide excellent customer service at delivery locations. Requirements:
Full UK Driving Licence. Previous van driving experience is preferred. Comfortable with long-distance driving. Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling duties. Basic computer skills and confidence using computer systems. Good attention to detail and ability to complete administrative tasks accurately. Flexible to work start times between 03:00 and 10:00. Reliable, punctual and able to work independently. Insurance Requirement:
