System Administrator - Hybrid

System Administrator (DevOps / AWS / Infrastructure) The Opportunity We’re working with a growing, technology-driven organisation looking to hire a System Administrator with strong DevOps and infrastructure experience. This is a hands-on role where you’ll play a key part in maintaining, optimising, and scaling critical systems. You’ll collaborate closely with development and operations teams to ensure high availability, performance, and security across the environment. Key Responsibilities * Manage and maintain server infrastructure (Linux/Windows environments) * Support and optimise cloud platforms, particularly AWS * Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines * Monitor system performance, availability, and security * Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and networking issues * Automate routine tasks using scripting and command-line tools * Support deployments and environment configuration * Key Skills & Experience * Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role * Strong knowledge of AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, etc.) * Solid DevOps understanding (CI/CD, automation, infrastructure as code) * Strong command-line skills (Bash, PowerShell, or similar scripting) * Experience with server management (patching, monitoring, performance tuning) * Good understanding of networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls, routing) * Familiarity with tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or similar (desirable) ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE FREE TO WORK IN THE UK Exposed Solutions is acting as an employment agency to this client.
