The Crown is a Two AA Rosette pub restaurant in rural Worcestershire with a growing reputation as a destination dining venue. We're hiring a General Manager to lead the next stage of our journey and we mean it.
The mission:
Drive the operation from Two Rosettes toward Three
Secure a Michelin Bib Gourmand
Build the team, systems and culture to deliver consistently at that level
Grow covers, spend and contribution across café, restaurant and bar
What you get:
£40,000£50,000 base, depending on experience
Full share of tronc / service charge on top
Equity in the business available to the right candidate, against performance milestones
Full P&L ownership and genuine autonomy
Training, development, supplier trips and industry events
The backing of an ownership group that invests properly
What you bring:
Proven GM or strong AGM experience in a rosette-level or premium gastropub / restaurant
Demonstrable track record on covers, GP, labour and EBITDA
Genuine passion for food, wine and hospitality
Strong people leader recruits, develops and retains
Commercially sharp and confident with P&L reporting
High energy, hands-on, visible on the floor every service
Personal Licence holder (or willing to obtain one immediately)
Nice to have:
Experience working toward AA Rosette, Michelin or Good Food Guide recognition
WSET or equivalent wine qualification
Rural or destination venue background
Opening, repositioning or scaling experience
