About the role

£30-32k + bonus 38 hours per week The Opportunity We’re working with a well-established food business in Lancashire looking to bring in a Transport Coordinator to support the day-to-day running of a busy logistics operation. This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced environment where you’ll play a key role in ensuring products are delivered to customers efficiently and on time. Key Responsibilities * Manage the full delivery process from inbound through to outbound * Process daily orders accurately and within tight deadlines * Coordinate pallet and tray movements with internal teams and third-party providers * Validate data, including proof of delivery * Manage order amendments and respond to any delivery issues or delays * Liaise with customers and logistics partners, providing timely updates * Identify process improvements and support operational efficiency * Assist with departmental projects and general administration What We’re Looking For * Previous experience in a logistics or transport role (preferred) * Good knowledge of UK geography * Strong organisational skills and attention to detail * Confident communicator, able to build relationships at all levels * Basic IT skills (Excel, Word, general systems) * A proactive, “can-do” attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team * Flexible approach to working hours What’s on Offer * Competitive hourly rate + annual attendance bonus * 26 days holiday (including bank holidays) * Company pension * Health & wellbeing support * Free on-site parking If you’re looking for a role where you can make a real impact within a growing operation, we’d love to hear from you
