About the role
Experienced SEN Outreach Tutor (Barking)
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Prospero Teaching is seeking a highly experienced SEN Outreach Tutor to provide bespoke 1:1 education packages for children and young people with Special Educational Needs who are currently not attending school in Barking.
This role involves planning and delivering highly individualised lessons designed to meet each learner's specific needs, re‑engage them with education, and support both academic and emotional development. Many pupils will have been out of formal education for extended periods and may present with complex needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or learning difficulties.
This opportunity is well suited to an experienced SEN professional who is looking to step away from the classroom and make a meaningful impact through personalised, relationship‑based teaching. You will play a key role in rebuilding confidence, establishing routine, and supporting pupils back into learning.
Prospero Teaching will work closely with you to monitor progress, provide ongoing support, and ensure positive outcomes for every learner.
