Education Provision Leader

We are looking to recruit an education leader to oversee our teacher led provision across the South West of England from the beginning of the 2026-27 academic year. This role would suit someone with a background in a range of education settings, leadership skills and who is looking to develop and shape alternative learning opportunities for vulnerable students, outside of the confines of the mainstream education sector. We are a well established alternative learning provision based mainly in Bristol and South Gloucestershire however we also have bases in Gloucester and Swindon and offer a range of learning and mentoring experiences for young people from Primary ages through to Post 16. Our teacher led provision focuses on the delivery of English, maths and PSHE predominantly with Arts and Music also included. This role will be based out of our headquarters in South Gloucestershire however will involve travel to all sites. The role is 9-4, Monday to Friday and we pride ourselves as an organisation in providing a work-life balance that means there is little or no expectation on you to work outside of these hours or complete duties at home. We are alternative learning and therefore you can expect an alternative from the pressures of mainstream school education! The role’s primary focus is on leading and supporting our teachers to excel and in developing our curriculum provision to meet the needs of our diverse student group. The role doesnt involve direct teaching but may involve some cover of lessons in the event of absence. Our ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and experience supervising staff as well as a passion for curriculum building, improving the standards of teaching and learning and a wide knowledge of SEN and Safeguarding practices.
