Class 1 Night Driver

We are currently looking for experienced and skilled Class 1 Store Delivery Drivers for our client based in Hemel Hempstead, Are you an experienced Class 1 driver looking for clean, consistent work with excellent pay? We’re recruiting professional HGV 1 Store Delivery Drivers to join a fast-paced operation delivering ambient and frozen goods between different store across the UK. Pay Rates: * AM Shifts (Start between 00:00–12:00): £24.43/hr * Weekend Bonus: £61.15 per shift (Saturday & Sunday) * Shifts: 8–12 hours (30-minute unpaid break) * Paid Induction & 1 Week of Training (after successful assessment) About the Job: * store deliveries, multi-drop * Modern, well-maintained fleet * will be physical work with lifting involved. Your Responsibilities: * Timely and safe delivery between hubs and depots * Perform trailer swaps or drops when required * Complete all relevant paperwork, logs, and checks * Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and defect reporting * Maintain excellent communication with transport team * Adhere to all road safety, site, and tachograph regulations Requirements: * Valid HGV Class 1 Licence (C+E) * Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Card * A minimum of 180 days of UK Class 1 driving experience in the last 2 years (must show on Digi Card) * Maximum 6 points on licence – no major convictions * Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious * Flexibility with shift patterns and weekend availability * Able to pass driving assessment and induction What You Get: * Top industry pay + generous weekend bonuses * Consistent work * Paid induction and training * Great site facilities and friendly transport team * Work for a trusted name in UK logistics * PPE required: Hi-Vis & safety boots Shift Patterns: * Shifts range between 8–12 hours * Shifts Friday to Monday * Flexibility required – shifts not guaranteed daily, but priority given on peak days
