Weighbridge Operator Location: Inverness Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am 4:00pm Pay Rate: £14.12 per hour We are currently recruiting for a reliable and detail-oriented Weighbridge Operator to provide short-term operational cover at a busy Waste Transfer Station.

This is a desk-based operational role within an industrial environment and is ideally suited to candidates with strong IT skills, excellent numerical accuracy, and experience working within compliance-driven environments.

Key Responsibilities Accurately weighing vehicles entering and leaving site Entering data precisely using dedicated weighbridge software Producing Waste Transfer Notes in line with current waste legislation Managing vehicle movements safely and efficiently Communicating effectively with drivers and site personnel Following all site health and safety procedures Ensuring all records and documentation are completed accurately to maintain statutory compliance Candidate Requirements Applicants must be able to demonstrate: Strong IT confidence and experience using computer-based systems Proven experience of accurate data entry Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail The ability to follow written procedures and legislative requirements without supervision Awareness of health & safety within an operational environment Desirable Experience The following experience would be advantageous: Previous weighbridge operation experience Experience within waste management, recycling, logistics, or industrial operations Familiarity with Waste Transfer Notes or regulated environmental documentation Full training on the dedicated weighbridge software will be provided.
