Repairs Support Operative Salary £26,100 Location Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire & Northamptonshire Temporary, Full Time Were looking for two community-based Repairs Support Operatives to join our Amplius Response Team, helping customers maintain safer, healthier homes through mould treatment, basic repairs, and practical on-site support.

Working across our communities, youll support skilled operatives and build positive relationships with customers while delivering a reliable, high-quality repairs service.
Salary: £26,100 per year Contract: Six-month fixed term contract Your week: 39 hours Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm Location: South region
- Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire Northamptonshire & Kent (Sevenoaks) You will be provided with full PPE, work van and fuel card.
Snapshot of your role Carry out mould washing, treatment, and application of mould-inhibiting products in customers homes.
Apply stain-blocking products and renew silicone sealants in kitchens, bathrooms, and other areas as required.
Complete basic non-skilled repairs to support the wider repairs service.
Support skilled operatives with manual handling tasks, moving materials, ladder footing, and safe working-at-height activities.
Set up, maintain, and clear work areas to ensure homes are left safe, clean, and tidy after works are completed.
Transport waste and removed materials to approved disposal sites and collect materials or consumables from suppliers and merchants.
Follow health and safety procedures at all times, use PPE correctly, maintain accurate records, and report hazards, safeguarding concerns, or property issues promptly.
What were looking for Experience working in a repairs, property maintenance, or similar hands-on environment.
Ability to carry out mould treatment, stain blocking, and basic sealant work to a high standard.
Understanding of health and safety requirements, including manual handling, ladder footing, and safe site working practices.
Confidence following instructions and working effectively alongside skilled operatives and wider teams.
Strong communication and customer service skills when working in residents homes.
Ability to use mobile technology for job management and record keeping.
Good problem-solving skills with a reliable, professional, and customer-focused approach.
Full UK driving licence, DBS clearance, and the flexibility to adapt to changing repair priorities.
