Pay Rate: £19.00 - £21.00 Per Hour (Negotiable Based on Experience and Pay Type)

Morson Edge are looking for a Loading Shovel Driver in the Marston Green, Birmingham area, due to upcoming holiday cover starting 26/05/2026.
The role is holiday cover on a HS2 Aggregates Mixing Plant, and candidates will therefore need to be BBV inducted and have worked in a similar role previously, within the Aggregates / Construction sectors.
Successful candidates will have previously worked as a Loading Shovel Drivers / Wheeled Loading Shovel Operators, transporting materials safely and efficiently, loading hoppers, moving aggregates and materials, from stock piles to bins. xwzovoh
Further work may be based at different locations over the remainder of the summer months.
Daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Operate the loading shovel in a safe and efficient manner
Transport materials to feed screens, bins and hoppers
Load and unload materials as required
Perform routine maintenance checks on the machine
Follow health and safety procedures at all times
Report any issues or faults promptly
Candidates will ideally:
Hold a valid CPCS or NPORS Wheeled Loading Shovel Licence
Have been BBV inducted previously, holding a BBV induction card
Previous experience working as a Loading Shovel Driver / Loading Shovel Operator
Have an understanding of health and safety regulations within construction aggregates
Be punctual, reliable with good communication skills
