Based at our brand-new PW Campus in Speke, Liverpool, we are looking for detail-oriented Stock Controllers to manage stock accuracy, streamline warehouse operations, and ensure our inventory systems mirror reality.
In this role, you wont just count stock
- you will investigate discrepancies, optimise stock rotation, and collaborate across teams to prevent shortages.
If you have a sharp eye for detail, experience with WMS/ERP systems, and a knack for problem-solving, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities Conduct routine cycle counts of inventory to maintain stock accuracy and investigate discrepancies.
Ensure all stock variances are identified, analysed, and corrected in a timely manner.
Manage and monitor BBE dates, ensuring correct stock rotation using FIFO/FEFO principles where applicable.
Maintain accurate inventory records within warehouse management systems (WMS) Monitor stock movements, including goods received, transfers, and stock issues.
Work closely with Production, Purchasing, and Warehouse teams to ensure stock availability and avoid shortages.
Support stock audits and assist with inventory reconciliation activities.
Investigate root causes of stock discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
Ensure stock handling follows company procedures and quality standards.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
Skills & Experience Previous experience in inventory control, stock management, or warehouse operations.
Strong understanding of inventory management principles including cycle counting and stock reconciliation.
Experience managing BBE/expiry-controlled stock.
Good numerical and analytical skills.
Experience using ERP/WMS systems.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and organisational skills.
Experience within manufacturing, food, pharmaceutical, or FMCG environments.
Understanding of FIFO/FEFO stock management practices.
