About the role
AM Global are looking to recruit experienced Chemical Manufacturing Operatives to join our client based in Middlesbrough on a permanent basis.
Key responsibilities:
Ensure Compliance to the highest standards of Health, Safety, and Environmental performance across the site manufacturing areas
Use process knowledge and competence to ensure production and quality are delivered effectively.
Assist in ensuring that the production plan is on track, tackling issues as they arise and reporting and managing any non-conformance and the reasons why in a timely fashion. Ensure all tasks are undertaken in accordance with the relevant procedures.
Be responsible for product storage ensuring compliance with H&S regulations at all times
Deliver finished goods from the production line to the warehouse efficiently as per the site procedures and production schedules.
Assist in the manufacture, packing labelling and despatch of products and blends.
Handling of empty packaging and hazardous/non-hazardous product in the form of bulk tankers and packed goods.
Follow recipes for blending of material
Fill drums and IBC containers
Promote product integrity and security.
Be fully conversant with and take responsibility for those sections of the Integrated Management System in which you are involved.
Participate in training programmes and initiative as required to perform your duties to the required level of competence.
Be responsible for loading and offloading road Tankers and HGV’s
Be well converse with Product hazards
Ensure Safety systems are being followed
Ensure daily KPI’s are met and any production issues are reported to your line Manager Identify and suggest opportunities for improvements across the site
To support the business with any overtime to ensure production and orders are met
Assist in the management and development of a continuous safety improvement methodology.
Apply and adhere to the company values at all times.
Taking active leadership roles in target areas such as Behaviour Based Safety, Hazard Identification, and Procedure Writing
To Liaise with site QSHE to ensure all safety & compliance related activities are reported.
Any other tasks required
Working hours:
Monday to Friday 7am - 4pm
