Term time only (36 weeks) Salary - Up to £21,945 (actual salary for full time hours working a full academic year) What we are looking for: * Experience working with young people aged 11-16, particularly those with SEND and or SEMH needs * Experience supporting students with EHCPs * Experience in Alternative Provision or similar settings * Calm, patient, resilient, and adaptable approach. * Ability to work in a small team * Good organisation skills and confidence using IT for administrative tasks * Good communication skills – written and verbal. * Able to use your own initiative and make decisions * GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English at grade C or above Duties/responsibilities: * To provide learning support for bespoke groups of students aged 14 – 16 years who are attending the 14 – 16 Alternative Provision at Nescot. * To encourage the engagement, resilience, and positive learning behaviours of students in lessons so that they have a sense of achievement and assist them in re-engaging in education. * To provide support to individual students and small groups in lessons, vocational sessions and interventions. * To assist students in identifying a pathway for Post 16.
